Twelve South Launches the Curve SE: An Affordable Aluminum Stand for MacBooks

Popular accessory manufacturer Twelve South has unveiled its latest product, the Curve SE. This multi-piece stand is made of aluminum and is an upgraded version of the original Curve MacBook Stand.

The Curve SE is composed of three separate pieces that easily snap together, allowing users to adjust their MacBook to the ideal ergonomic height. It is compatible with secondary displays such as the Studio Display and can also be adjusted to position the webcam at eye level, resulting in improved video calls.

Although the Curve SE shares a similar design to the original Curve stand, it is more budget-friendly with a $20 lower price tag. It boasts the same sleek aluminum construction and benefits, but lacks the black or white matte finish found on the original version.

To ensure a secure placement, the stand features silicone-lined arms that firmly grip the MacBook, mirroring the functionality of the standard Curve stand. Visually, it closely resembles the Curve stand, but its three-piece assembly helps reduce manufacturing costs.

The Curve SE is available for purchase at a price of $40 directly from Twelve South’s website.
